Hi, I,ve just returned from my hols . I hope this had been discussed at the southern softies run ? , because just before I left I,d messaged bcp to say I,ve booked a place . Like I explained a little bit further up the thread I had been in touch with one camping pub (The true lovers knot) which took a week to get back to me and say they only had room for Friday night. :( . I have since booked a pub/site called the "new inn" in church knowle which is 10 miles from museum. The owner asked how many tents /people so I,ve said eight? . What he did ask was could we please let him know if we are eating there as they are very busy at weekends and would need to book a table. it might be an idea to have a roll call to double check numbers. once I,m certain of amount I,ll phone back to check more details . If you could please confirm intentions . :) ps, I,m still happy to pick up some super market goodies en route for biker chaps and also , the other pub with camping which could be an option is called the "trooper inn" which looks good but its 24 miles away from museum, check it out ??.
