I wish to paint an old caravan. The paint finish on the caravan is dull and matt now as it is about 40 years old. I need to clean the green slime and algae from it using CubScrub and water prior to painting. What I want to know is what type of paint should I use and what to avoid. The paint would be applied by brush and I want to keep the costs to a minimum but still end up with a reasonably weather resistant finish. Any ideas or suggestions from you noble people as to what sort of paint to use?
