im running 15/36 with the 110 (cause im a fat bast**d) in. with the standard 90 winter engine (which i havent fitted this year, i left the 110 in, just too lazy to change it) i run 16/39. i did the same as you mick and tried a 17 front, toooooo much, rode it for about 15 miles and put the 16 back on. with the 17 it was about 5 mph slower and absolutly crap on hills.
