Remember my carb and manifold coming off over the Snake Pass Boggs? Bike was absolutely flying downhill - left you and Russ far behind - then you caught up with me at the side of the road in Buxton having discovered it had been flying because the manifold was hanging around vaguely near the port, and the over-rich Chinese carb had been supplying enough mixture to the large gap! 
Bogger kindly gave me two large cable ties which re-attached it to get me home.
The best bit though was the look on his face when we met up for a local run a couple of weeks later and he spotted the carb was still held on with the cable ties. 
Shocking.
