Hi John, sorry to hear about your son in laws mishap and I am very pleased to hear he is generally okay certainly in part thanks to the actions of the truck driver.

I would be interested to know what caused the deflation of the front tyre, i.e was it definately a "blowout" ?? as these are by definition the result of a stuctural failure of component parts of the tyre casing. Or, was it a rapid deflation as a result of a puncture??
