As someone who has two very severe crisis and got rid of stuff.I would advise you to put it away safe and wait.It wont be soon but you will go through the grieving process and come out the other side.
Dont do any thing hasty.
Grieve get help if needed and remember the good times, the bad get forgotten very soon.
Its a bad time of year with the nights getting early and darker.
