Hi, apologies for starting new thread - computers are not my strong point and I tried to post photographs in another thread as people requested them, but I messed it up, so here goes, an attempt to post photographs via a link:

The link shows you pics of the honda wave (innova) 125 unregisterd, it was imported new from Spain (or so I was told) - its been stuck in a shed since new, my guess approx ten years, has some light rust in places probably from condensation in the shed, and some storage marks, but it started up and runs really well after a change of petrol. It is not UK spec and I didn't pay much for it.
The other photos are of the c70 basket case that I came accross - its an old one, you can see by the front number plate over the mud guard. There are holes in the frame, a new arse has just been welded on it but I may have to lengthen the mud-guard if I'm to use the innova swinging arm. The basket case is complete apart from chain, but its just about worn out - all rusty etc.
My plan is to have all innova running gear including correct wheelbase length, and innova engine, but the remainder c70. So it should run and handle like an innova but look like the cub, and old one at that. I may try to use the c70 pressed steel front forks as an upper shroud for the innova forks - not sure how that would work out.
So there is the plan. I've restored several bikes in the past but this is my first cub restoration (although I do have another c90) but I am a single parent of five kids and I work 50 hours per week, so I dont get a lot of time so this will probably take me a year or so cursing in a shed, but it's better than watching the telly
Dave
