Top marks for perseverance, remind me not to buy anything from CSML!.Strange to say, I've had a similar problem with the front cylinder on my Shadow, carbs stripped and cleaned x3, new coils, ht leads, plugs, alternator, swapped cdi units all to no avail. Then the ignition switch became a bit hit or miss, stripped and cleaned the contacts, result is that everything now works perfectly, can't see why, I just hope it stays fixed!
