Hi Everybody.
Thanks for your help. The idle jet is clear, the bike starts and ticks over fine. The problem is that it bogs down, when you open the throttle. If I poor a drop of petrol down the air cleaner as I rev it, it picks up fine, leading me to suspect the needle to be to large - not letting enough fuel through. as the bike is old, there has been plenty of time for the needle to have been lost, or damaged in the past, and some numpty to have replaced it with the wrong one. As Boo has shown the Haynes manual, gives you all the info, except the needle. Would someone be able to take the needle out of there (running properly) bike, and read the number of the side?
I am based near Potters Bar.
All help gratefully received,
Richard.
