I second the Trangia bottles that DD mentioned.
They are incredibly solid and designed for fuel (I think it says gasoline on them somewhere).
Also they are pressure proof so don't leak vapours if the sun shines on them and warms everything up.
They have a natty little pouring spout built into the cap which works well albeit slowly.
Be careful when filling though. The neck is wide enough for a garage pump but only just so it will spurt upwards if you accidentally overfil them.
They are also easy to carry - mine goes in an army canvas pouch that hangs from the hook inside the right leg shield on the cub.
That said I like the idea of the two stroke mixing bottles too. They are tough, designed for fuel and cheap too.
