Kev, it may be either the condenser or fuel starvation.

Give the filter a clean and blow back the fuel line into the tank with the cap on, you should be able to hear the air breathing through the cap (if not you will have a blocked fuel breather hole in the cap)

Condensers are cheap enough, you could also add one outside the flywheel as a quick check.
