ok, i've now removed the chain (i do love a split link chain).

There are no siezed links at all and theres no play in the back wheel/sproket.

But ive noticed that there is a crap load in the front. the front sproket only seems to be held on by a little plate with two bolts on it and it wobbles around freely on the spindle.

this cant be normal? shouldn't there be something behind it to space it out from teh engine?
