Yep Geoff , on the part of bearing that could be seen it looked o.k but on the inside was a different matter & not seen due to the dust seal & enclosure !

! thats my excuse anyway Diesel & Mr Bogger !

Next time i remove the wheel out on it's side i shall apply an heat gun to the grease and gently melt it to the inner side of the unseen bearing then refill with new .
Also i can confirm Harry you will be glad to hear the new replacement carrier is has smooth as a babys bum !

! and the Big Boy exhaust sounds has rough as a pair of old hobb nail boots !
