All fitted and working now, after sorting all the things you mentioned LVCampbell. Ric sorted the lights yesterday.
The only problems I have now are a misfire whic I've had all along on the previous engine so hoping a coil change will sort this. The float needle valve seem so be sticking on the brand new Mikuni branded carb that came with the Lifan engine
