ayup boo, i recently rescued a ytx5l-bs 12 4ah battery from a scrap chinky 50cc scooter, all tests prove it to be a good battery,, it states the make as rob hunter co ltd, and the only differance in size is its 10mm taller than a kick start battery, if i came across the mounying plate and a leccy start side pannel would there be any advantage in useing it on the kick start cub, also could you tell my how to change the wireing so that my side light works straight off the battery, so it is permantly on with my led rear light, cheers mate, its good to have a freind out there that knows about lectrickery as i dont have a clue, cheers mate, see you at rhayader, Griz.
