Hi Phil....
Welcome to the board.
1st thing , pop your location behind your name , that way if anyone is local you can meet up if you need help.
As Leiba says , check your plug cap & lead, snip off a tiny amount of your HT lead.
Make sure your fuel cap is still breathing.
New plug ??
Check your choke flap is free & not partially sticking

MOST important try all of this one thing at a time & that way you will sort out what it was !
Oh , & let us know what it was !
