hi james, its suprising how much a 500ml can will do, if you apply to much it will just run off. better to put a thin coat and reapeat every so often, though where the seams are its worth blitzing. i bought a 5 litre can the other day , it was 20 quid. the pumps you speak of arent too bad if its warm and the waxoyl is thin
