The round black thing is a bridge rectifier to convert the ac supply to the rear lamp to dc for the centre led array which is ??? to become the new rear light. The two outer arrays are to be brake lights. There is a capacitor there to smooth things a bit. The big resistor is to feed the three number plate led's. Im going to plug it into the existing lamp socket using the base from an old bulb. The two wires to the rectifier then ... do I just wire one side to the rear light ac feed pin and the other to the bulb base shell ie earth. Too much thinking brain has stopped working. Regards. Bob.
