It was so long ago I really can't recall what direction we were going in. What I can remember is we left the boatyard (can't remember which one) on Saturday and by Monday night in the pub (after the Tardebigge lock marathon) we were all bolloxed to the point of seven of us sitting round a table with beer hardly able to sup. This wasn't helped by every time we made eye contact with each other we burst into fits of giggles that had tears rolling down our cheeks, like a load of bloody school girls really, lol. As I say it was in the days of a well mis-spent youth if 28 years old can be called youth. Happy days of working and partying hard and silly. 
Quite possibly why I like the Cub 90/stepthru/underbone scene as it has a similar ethos of not taking things too seriously and having a good time even if it wears you out.
