Thank you, very helpful. It is registered as a Honda - but I now see that there are no Honda badges on it! There is a basket on the front and removing it I now see that it is badged as a "NICE Super Cub". So a Chinese copy. Seems pretty much identical to the original Honda of the period and the few Honda parts I have bought so far fit OK.
Guess that makes it rarer - in NZ anyway. So I'll save it for posterity.
