Don't fret about it. I'm fairly certain CM90 isn't an option on the MOT testers list. I have this with a lot of my bikes.

They are confined to a DVLA list, and simply choose the best of the bunch.

Try taking a Honda Little Cub in. It becomes a C50. In fact even though I laboured the model on the V55/V62 and ensured it was clear on the dating cert, It came back as a C50.

I'll bet a pound to a penny you'll make no headway with them.

In fact, I just checked the V5's for both my CM90's, and the Model is left blank.

What I'm very careful about is making sure the insurer gets the details correct. Some only have three or four models listed, like C50, C90 Or C90zz.

And while some will happily sell you a ZZ policy for your CM, you and I know they are different bikes.

So I end up with a classic insurer, and make damn sure they know exactly what I have, that's all I worry about.
