It's been a long time since I posted, too longâ€¦ I still keep in touch with Bogger but somehow I lost contact with you all. Two years ago I spent several months in a clinic suffering from depression but I got out. I truly have been to hell and back. If you ever feel tempted to go into a clinic, DO NOT, you might never be allowed out again.
I still have my Innova, a white one, I gave my original red and orange bike to my son. I still have Little Annie who is now eleven but still behaves like a pup.
Last summer we did a 1,700 mile tour of Scotland, camping of course. Most of the bikes up there seemed to be those BMW GS Adventure bikes with all the fancy panniers etc. Adventure bike? I think a pizza delivery bike with a small terrier and camping gear aboard is surely more of an adventure bike. Again we rode most of the West coast plus Aran and Mull. It was on the West of Mull that I had a rear wheel puncture, although I had a spare tube I had forgotten tyre levers, with no houses or mobile signal I had to ride 12 miles on a flat tyre. Eventually the RAC got me back to the camp site and with the wheel we caught the ferry back to Oban and had a new tyre fitted. Again I rode the North coast and eventual used the M6 from the Lake District down to Brum.
I still go out on solo bimbles but real miss riding with you lot. I'm hoping to make Rhyader and rekindling old friendships.
