Against all the odds,I'm getting close to attempting a certificate of roadworthyness for my 2008 Lifan deathtrap. This is the newest vehicle I've ever owned, so what I need to know is: Does the EGR valve get checked in the MOT? Also, I'm pretty sure the tyres are the originals but the rear tyre is a 100/90/16 and the front one is a 2.75 x 18...does this mean the front one is cross ply and the rear is a radial? Why would they fit mixed tyres from the factory? I've done a DVLA MOT check and it shows a whole host of horrors in the past,but there's nothing about tyres so I'm guessing this mixture is ok. I could ask the MOT station,but I don't want to alert them to anything...
