STICKY RESIDUE

Inappropriate or SPAM?

Anyone got any tips on how to remove sticky residue from off car dashboards? A newly acquired car as got this goo all over the plastic vinyl probably from the use of cheap vinyl cleaners.
Not exactly C90 related although I have seen this problem with the seats.
