i hate wearing full face helmets. so about 10 years ago i bought a caberg "ji plus" flip front, thinking i would get the best of both worlds, i found myself always riding with the front up. i got pulled by a bike cop and given a lecture on how dangerous it was to ride with the front up. when i got home i thought sod this and got the hacksaw and cut the front bit out. i now have an open face helmet with a great visor and a good amount of jaw protection, best helmet i have ever had, not sure of its legality any more, but have never been pulled with it, have spoken to police men whilst wearing it and no comment about it, so sod it i like it, and still hate full face helmets.
