So should we give up any aspiration then of building a c90club for those who want it?
Are we precluded then, from having c90club runs and c90club events, again for those who want it?
Maybe we should just walk away after 6 years hard work and abandon the 9500 members c90club has signed up?
Sorry mate, but it isn't going to happen.
Amie was quite happy to organise Barmouth 1 & 2 as official c90club runs, competing with Rhayader because of the hot potato it had become, and a way of holding an event in the beautiful Welsh setting without all the old baggage surrounding Rhayader and c90club. It was a great idea and way of moving on and upwards.
Amie asked permission of c90club to sell stickers for the event, (Granted on the basis of no profit) and the stickers carry c90club.co.uk on them, no less.
That she's now had a change of heart and it's become Amie Hurlstone's Barmouth Bash is probably more down to the fact that she has an axe to grind with me personally. A great shame.
We can't stop people building events on c90club, and then saying 'They're mine'. C'est la vie.
Anyone signed up is able to organise events there, and benefit from the audience we have generated by many peoples hard work, provided it is open to everyone in c90club.
If people wish to publicise their own events there, sell stickers, or merchandise around the event, then good luck to them, run along and promote it elsewhere.
That said, we may or may not allow certain promotions, but they remain at our discretion.
Such a shame that after 6 years people are still generating ill will over Rhayader.
I'm sure that at least one person, responsible for taking against us in the first instance, will be rubbing their poisonous hands with glee!
And STILL people wonder, why we won't get involved in Rhayader!
Ah well, at least it's livened up CubChat!
