Its not worth paying extra for fully comprehensive as rarely would you get your money back even if you totaled your bike, by the time you have payed off the "Excess" fees and lost your no claim discount etc unless of course your bike happens to be worth thousands of pounds. 
However Legal cover gives peace of mind, for example.. you run over a cat in the road and one of your neighbours decides to sue you.
