head gasket gone? advice please....

My much loved and highly thrashed lifan 110 motor (14,000 miles ish)in the cub has become a bugger to start. Now noticed a lot of smoke coming from the crankcase breather and today noticed yellow emulsified oil and crap on the centre stand where its close to the engine breather...just been out and changed oil/done tappets/new plug/checked choke is working ok. still smoky and poor starting. Not overly worried as still have the original c90 motor to go back in.
So what does one think.....head gasket?
