will the exhaust off the non injection innova fit the injection version? the wifes injection innova exhaust is rotten and at the back of the shed is a car innova, before i dig it out and whip the pipe off, anyone done this swap? im told the later pipe has a cat in it but there arent any sensors in the pipe so i cant see how it could affect the running or fuelling of the injection because the exhausts output isnt monitored. the build quality of these later bikes is pretty hit and miss compared to the earlier ones which seem to be fairly well put together, the exhaust is a particular problem, being mild steel with just black paint on the downpipe, it seems designed to rot. this one has done 6000 miles and is completely rotted through.
im going to order a new pipe for it, but need to get her back on the road in the meantime.
