I've done 7000 miles on with them on the Vision & I've got them on the car as well (24k). No problems so far & they seem to last well (so they'll do for me) but I suppose over the years I've driven on so many crap & 2nd hand tyres I'm used to anything.
The best tyres were on my Citroen Diane 
(an up-market version of the 2CV if you could ever imagine there was such a thing). They were Michelin could last for 70k & with the 15" wheels would take you anywhere a Land Rover would go.
In fact if my memory serves me correctly I thing that Sir Klipp had one if not two of the marvels of engineering.
