Hi, I took my refurbed 1985 c90 out for a run last week and it lacked power in 3rd, but picked up if I pulled the choke full on. Tried a short distance without the air filter - no real difference. The carb has been cleaned, so I replaced the 'o' rings on the carb/black plastic spacer. Tried it again today- same thing, ticks over nicely, revs freely in 1st/2nd on the flat but then into third and it struggles to pull and 'hunts' at 30. It might just get around 42mph in third on a gentle long downhill - I'm guessing they should go a bit faster than that. Power in all gears is down going up hill.
I've checked the sliding carb needle and that is on the middle setting. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
