Thanks for the quick reply. In short following my initial research (eBay!) the most expensive was about 895. and based on that I thought around 1k. Reading your post now though I think I may have undervalued it. The eBay one was nowhere near as perfect(unrestored ) and this bike is one owner from new with All paperwork.stored for 35 Years in garage. Even tyres are original. I probably shouldn't ride it but I do. Kind of grows on you - and my most recent bike- yam fjr1300! So, I doubt there is one much better out there, my stepdad is fastidious. For many years I have been asked, since he has been unable to walk to go to the garage and give it a few kicks with plug removed. I am not concerned tbh about the cost if the insurance, want to get it right, he would not have it any other way.
