It depends really on how much insurance you want to pay 
An immaculate old style Honda C70/c90 that's original with no repainting, with just one or two owners, very low mileage and with its original paper work can fetch from £1000 to £2000 or even more
but if you wanted the insurance to cover more than the general market value of the bike (roughly about £700)you would need to be quite specific about the details of your bike and how its used(or not used) because in the event of a claim the insurance would only pay out on the general market value no matter how much a person may think its worth.
