I must admit I do prefer the Metzeler ME22's but the rear wears in the central region quickly @ 3k or 4k front lasts alright it just depends on your style of riding !

! although i'm going to try the Michelin's M45's next which are pretty much the same price @ £35 each !

Just a word of warning that the 275/17 does fit on the front but not without having the front mudguard mod of @ 50mm off the front lip edge due to it catching and rubbing on the tyre under braking conditions , I just cut it off with a junior hacksaw and simply filed edges and you wouldn't notice !

!
The 300/17 slips in the rear but not a lot of clearance off the torqe arm and alters the gearing so the speedo shows almost correct rather than under and gives a better top end on the flats !

! but loses out on the hills with less torqe !
