Sunday would be best, but does it need to be a 3am start, in the dark? Sunday is also best for the tea hut although and as Wingy has said it's usually an afternoon type place. I'd LOVE to see all those snob bikers crowded out by a bunch of step thrus! (Might even see that old police car there)
Would it be a riding tour, with just a few stops or lots of stops?
Sunday is also best for parking as most of the bays will be empty, but don't stop in Westminster, you'll be charged to park there.
The Tower of London is also another place to see but not to go in, it cost mega bucks in entrance fees nowadays.
