any one up for a bimble round the famous landmark sights of london ?. the north east crew have talked about the chance of this one before but nothings ever be planned or put forward, we don,t know if its practical or possible ??.
basically it would work something like this, van it down to the outskirts of the city centre and check in to a cheap travelodge deal for the night. next morning up with the dawn { 3am } and try to get 3 hours in round the city centre before the build up of traffic , taking in sights such as st pauls, tower bridge, piccadily circus and any other sights shown by locals from the board, as it gets busy we head out into the suburbs or countryside for a pub dinner and a pint + bimble, tea time its back in the van and head for home.
anyone intrested ? anyone local willing to show us round ? is it possible to get a reasonable safe and quiet bimble in the city centre in those early hours ? would a sunday morning be the best and quietest ? can anyone be arsed to get up at 3am ?.
just a few idea,s to put to the board, look forward to hearing from the london locals to see if its do-able or a non runner. i,d love to take my cub round the capital and see the sights, surely the cub is the ideal machine for the job and belongs in a thriving city like london.i guess we,d be looking at aug/sept time after the busy events in the city in may and june and wales in july.
