When I had my Honda xbr500 many years ago,it always backfired very loudly,didnt do it any harm,28000 miles in 22 months.
Then swapped for my 1st Honda c90-step-thru.19000 miles then some 1 xxxxxx xxxxxx nicked it.
2nd one I did 41400 miles,then don't ask I cut it up,then rode
3rd Honda c90-28000 miles,quicker then 1st 2,then xxxxxxx xxxxxxx again.
