Hi Kelvin,

I have exactly the same 'characteristic' on my 90. It's the exhaust header leaking air (at, or near the cylinder head), usually due to a knackered exhaust gasket, or in some cases 3 or 4 (they tend to get well crushed in there).

Pickling out all the old gaskets and popping a bit of exhaust paste round the new one should sort it, or my method just involved leaving carbon build up to fill the holes.
