I've run my 125(not a Lifan though)with a standard 12v 90 carb, fitted a smaller main jet,a BBR inlet and a cut'n'shut pit bike exhaust header pipe into a 12v Cub silencer and I've been really happy with it. As Dave says,it's no faster than a good '90,but it just stomps up hills with no problems and laughs in the face of headwinds.
