Early Economy C50 sq headlamps were 12 volt.
The one Ray rode at 2012 Rhayader was one of my old bikes, that I bought from Cub Tony.
The 49cc engine was goosed, so I used the bottom end which was a 4 speed , with a 85cc crank , head & barrel to make the 85cc 4 speed engine...
Ray had a 110 chinese engine in it & that is the bike that Windracer had , then got tailgated on it & wrote it off.
REAL shame as it was in fantastic condition , it was A reg 1984 !
I have the 4 speed engine here in storage for emergencies.
We have been here since 29th April, & I worked on the Cubs for the 1st time yesterday !
Just need to pop a tube into Jacks front tyre, then will have some journies out with pictures.
Its 11.15pm here & 24 degrees..
Was 37.5 today !
