Ady, you a man more in need of a diesel Enfield than anyone I know...

180 mpg, chains and tyres last about 35,000 miles and it will run on anything oily you can scrounge up from old chip oil to 'Transformer cooling oil' that a mate bought 1000 litres of from a scapyard for 40 quid.

Refuel at any truck stop with a small drill and a fuel can for free (Pikey style).

It won't help with the Noodle situation though.
