Hi Fuzz
The rims are 10" x 2.5 to be used with either 3.5" or 4.00" tyres. At Odiham we had no problem with a pair of cracked up old Chinese tyres which came with the bike..........but it was dry. At Mallory we had invested in a Sava B14 for the rear and a Continental K62 on the front. Both were dreadful We were drifting alternately from front to rear as we shifted weight in a desperate attempt to maintain grip on the long bends whilst being overtaken by Cub90's. We learn't after that Metzelers were the racing Cub90 tyre of choice. I have to admit that this is my third and absolutely last experience of Conti's; they are fine in the dry and can clock up high mileages, but if its wet weather grip you want, stay well clear, I think they must put teflon in the their compound. Fortunately I found a Scooter tyre test on the web in which they tested a number of tyres in both wet and dry conditions on a track and published the fastest lap times achieved; the Bridgestone ML50 came out on top for wet conditions, so i've bought some and put them on our spare rims in case of rain. I'm not sure how long they will last as they are almost sticky to the touch but as long as they grip I don't give a dam if they last one race!
