Nae bother. It has been a while since I was on the A85, you will not have gone over the connel bridge (just north of Oban) where there is a much loved tidal race much enjoyed by kayakers. If you are up that way again on the Transalp you should try the road going south of Oban down to Lochgilphead then up past Inverary to Loch Fyne. There are plenty of interesting places to stop on that road including the original Loch Fyne Oyster Bar where I always stop off for kippers :P

If we had met up in the Burg and you'd been on the Transapl I was going to take you to Cramond on the shore of the Firth of Forth in the North part of Edinburgh. Used to be a popular place for bikers on a good day i.e. a day it is not actually snowing or the rain has cut visibility to less than 100 yards.

Don't worry about the working bit, it takes a while to get used to being properly retired, like everything else it takes practise :)
