The concept that caused the brain fade was to do with half of the ac sine wave "being sucked" from the bikes earth ie the frame. Also this RMS thing.. does it mean that a resistor used as a heating element will only chuck out approx 0.71 of the heat when used in an ac circuit that it would when used in a dc circuit of the same voltage. Oh dear its happening again. Regards. Bob.
