I've never gapped any of my iridium plugs. Whatever gap they've come with its been fitted.
Try cutting 1cm off the end of the HT lead at the plug cap end, they do corrode and it costs nowt.
Swapping the coil is a good shout from Pete as well.
Are you sure the pilot jet is clear. I've had people say they have cleaned the carb thoroughly but the jets were still blocked.
