You need to pay if you want a quiet helmet. Cheap will never be quiet. My brother always has Arai. He wears glasses also. Bear in mind that even the bargain basement Arai won't be as quiet as the more expensive models. He also tried a Shoei on the recommendation of a friend but he did not like it when he put his glasses on.
I get a lot of wind noise coming over the screen on my work bike. I even had to block the top vent on the helmet as the wind hit it directly and chilled my head over winter.
