That does sound like and electrical cut out. I thing you might have a poor connection, loose connection or a broke wire that breaks down at high revs. If it's an internal break, inside the insulation then it will be a pain to find. When you changed the ignition coil, did you also fitt a new HT lead, plug cap and plug?
