It not modern bike problem it is Transalp problem it is pain to service! To access the rockers and screw adjusters it all out strip down time I think 6.5 hours is light the 700 douville (same engine ) is 8 hours
Oh and the St1300 pan valve not touched until 32k then not really required but only 4 hours Me I leave them to 100k !! still don't find any needing adjusting

Don't but a newish bike with an engine that a 1980'design !! transalp was VT500!
