OT. Slimy slabs?

When I get Ruby out of the front yard I'm going backwards and have to turn as well. The problem is that just where I turn there are two smoothish slabs which are green and slippery when wet. My feet slip and the front tyre, although pointing sideways, skids as I back the bike out.
So what's the best way of getting rid of this slippery slimy problem?
