Hi Andy,
I have used 3 or 4 of Cyrils barrels.
He is on ebay , but I cant find a 12v barrel on there ?

I have a 'Cyril' ( Motorcycle Mail Parts ) piston and barrel on my 12V. It was fitted 20,000 miles ago, and when I had the head off in summer just to check everything was ok, the barrel still has the 'swirl' hone marks in it. As the other guys say, keeps the revs and load down for the first 500 miles. I changed the oil twice in that run in period, and never let it get over 500 before some fresh Silkolene is sloshed in. It'll be grand now mate!
